What’s the actual difference between Standard and Custom?

Standard is a packaged website build: fixed scope, fixed price, predictable monthly fee. Custom is everything that isn’t a website, payment platforms, analytics and reporting systems, records-management-type builds, priced around the actual scope of what you need, not a template.

How does billing work?

Standard plans: a one-time setup fee split 50% upfront and 50% at launch, then a flat monthly fee auto-billed via Stripe on the 1st, cancel anytime with 30 days notice. Custom work: scoped and quoted upfront before anything starts, billed against that agreed plan, no surprise invoices.

What happens if the scope changes mid-project?

We talk before any work outside the agreed scope starts. You get a real number for the change before it happens, not an invoice after the fact.

Can I start on Standard and move to Custom later?

Yes. A lot of Custom projects start as a Standard site that outgrows its template. We’ll scope the difference rather than starting over.
